China's Gu Ailing won the championship with a perfect performance in the third jump. France's Tess Ludd was runners-up and Switzerland's Mathilde Grimaud was third.

The freestyle ski jump is one of the new events of the Beijing Winter Olympics. A total of 12 players participated in the final, and the competition was divided into three rounds, with the final score added up to the best results of the two completed actions of the athletes.
