The tyres were manufactured between May 2, 2021 and May 8, 2021, as original equipment supplied to the Stellantis Group for installation on the 2021-2022 Dodge RAM 2500 and Dodge RAM 3500 vehicles.

The recall includes the following tires: The Pushforce HT, size LT275/70R18 with DOT tire identification code VN 15 TH7 1821, and The Pushforce AT size LT275/70R18 with DOT tire identification code VN 15 TR9 1821.

Bridgestone said there was a problem with the rubber compound lined with the tires, and belt edge separation could occur later in the tire life, causing the vehicle to get out of control and increasing the risk of collision.

Bridgestone expects that about 5 percent of all recalled tires have the condition described above, but the company expanded the recall to include all potentially affected tires within the date code range.

Currently, these tires have not caused accidents or injuries. All customers, distributors and dealers will be notified of the recall, and Bridgestone will replace the tires with the customer free of charge.
