February 7 is the seventh day of the first lunar month, the chinese traditional festival "People's Day", Chengdu people come to Chengdu Du Fu Caotang to worship the poem Saint Du Fu, in order to express their deep respect for the poetry Saint Du Fu. It is reported that the "People's Day" tour of the grass hall has a long history, since the Song Dynasty, Du Fu Caotang will welcome a large number of literati and inkers every year to worship the poetry Saint Du Fu. In the Qing Dynasty, the poet and calligrapher He Shaoji specially went to Du Fu Caotang on the day of "People's Day" to pay homage to the poets, and inscribed a couplet of "Jinshui Spring Wind Gong Occupation, Caotang People's Day I Return", thus opening up the customs and traditions of Chengdu people's day trip to the Caotang. Nowadays, every year on "People's Day", Chengdu citizens bring together to the grass hall, sing Du poems, and admire plum blessings.
