Zhu Hu, a native of Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province, Ph.D. of School of Fine Arts of Shanghai University, Postdoctoral Fellow of School of Archaeology and Literature of Peking University, Shanghai Shuguang Scholar, Deputy Director of the Institute of Art of East China Normal University, Graduate Supervisor, Director of the Editorial Department of Chinese Art Research (CSSCI Collection), mainly engaged in the research and teaching of Chinese painting art and fine art archaeology. He is the person in charge of two major bidding sub-projects of the State Social Security Fund, namely "Research on the Origin of Chinese and Indian Buddhist Grottoes" and "Research on the Absorption of Ethnic Minority Art and Chinese National Identity by the Han Nationality".

During the Tang Dynasty, Ningzhou and Gyeongju were divided into north and south of Qingyang, and the seat of government was today's Ning County and Qingcheng. Qingyang is the main transportation route outside Chang'an North Tongsai, and has an important strategic position in politics, economy and military. Tombs from the Tang Dynasty have been discovered in Qiushugou and Qingcheng Zhao Zigou in Ning county, and a large number of vivid and colorful painted pottery sculptures, Tang Sancai, phoenix silver ornaments, bronze mirrors and other cultural relics have been unearthed.

The painted pottery sculptures unearthed in Qingyang are mainly divided into three categories: one is the figurines of human figures, such as civil officials, maid figurines, miscellaneous drama figurines, camel figurines, etc.; the second is the gods and monsters of the heavenly king figurines and town tomb beasts; the third is the pottery camel, pottery horse, pottery sheep and so on. Strikingly, there are different forms of Hu people leading camels and horses, black figurines, reflecting the prosperity of cultural exchanges and trade activities between China and foreign countries.

Tomb of Zhao Zigou Mutai in Qingcheng

Qingcheng Zhao Zigou Mutai Tomb is located in Zhao Zigou Development Zone, Fengjiadong Village, Chengguan Town, Qingcheng County. In April 2001, it was discovered that the cultural relics department had carried out a rescue cleanup. The tomb is a Tang Dynasty brick chamber tomb with a tomb road and a Yongdao, and more than 80 relics such as painted pottery figurines, taozhen tomb beasts, pottery horses, pottery camels and epitaphs have been excavated. According to the epitaph, the owner of the tomb was the guerrilla general Mu Tai, who died in the eighteenth year of Xuanzong Kaiyuan (730). The tomb is one of the important archaeological discoveries of the Tang Dynasty since the founding of the people's republic of china.
