Everybody: Barca are ready to regroup their backline this summer, though they find it difficult to sign De Ligt

According to Spain's "Daily Sports" newspaper, Barca are preparing to make a real restructuring of the back line this summer, and Xavi believes that the introduction of 1 or 2 centre-backs is inevitable.

Barca are ready to waive Chelsea's Christensen, who have already had in-depth negotiations with the players. At the same time, Barca have also studied the possibility of introducing De Ligt.

De Ligt could leave Juventus this summer, with players paying more than €100 million, but the transfer fee could be €65 million - €70 million.

Barca had wanted to sign De Ligt two years ago, but the players ultimately chose Juventus, but he didn't have much chance to perform at Juventus and Juve considered selling it this summer.

However, while Barca are interested in De Ligt, they believe it will be very difficult to sign the Dutch centre-back because the player's salary is too high and Barca is already having a lot of headaches about salary space unless De Ligt is willing to lower the wage asking price.

In recent weeks, Chelsea have been looking for new centre-backs as both Rudiger and Christensen are likely to leave on a free transfer, while Chelsea are also keeping an eye on De Ligt, who can fully afford De Ligt's salary.
