Last night, the Beijing Winter Olympic torch, passed by about 1,200 torchbearers, will light the main torch tower of the National Stadium and usher in an exciting Olympic moment. The torch relay also showed the figure of many volleyball players.
On the morning of February 2, the launching ceremony of the Beijing Winter Olympic Torch Relay was held in the Olympic Forest Park. At the age of 86, Mr. Wei Jizhong served as the No. 005 torchbearer. Wei Jizhong served as president of the FIVB, participated in the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano and the 2008 Beijing Olympic Torch Relay, and is now the third time that Wei Jizhong has served as an Olympic torchbearer.
On the morning of the 3rd, badaling Great Wall point brought together a number of Olympic athletes, beach volleyball player Xue Chen participated in the torch relay as the 007 torchbearer, and she shared the whole process with video records through social platforms.
On the afternoon of the same day, Zhang Changning completed the torch relay at the Dajing Gate in the West District of Zhangjiakou Bridge. In an interview, she said that it is a special honor and pride to be able to pass the Olympic torch at the doorstep of her home, and she wishes the Athletes of the Winter Olympic Games to play their best level and win glory for the country.
On February 4, the torch relay continued, and Zhu Ting served as the No. 17 torchbearer at the torch relay site of the Summer Palace in Beijing. This is Zhu Ting's first time to participate in the Olympic torch relay, and she also shared her feelings on her personal social platform: "This is my first time to participate in the Olympic torch relay. I met old friends, many teachers I have always respected, and lovely volunteers. I was fortunate to feel the passion of the Olympic Games again on the opening day of the Beijing Winter Olympics, and I still felt very warm in my heart in the whistling north wind. On the afternoon of the 4th, Liu Xiaotong, the No. 114 torchbearer, participated in the torch relay of the Grand Canal Forest Park section as a member of the Beijing Torch Group. The day before, she had also posted her torchbearer ID and certificate.
On the evening of February 4th, the last torch left at the site of the Big Snowflake Center became the main torch, and the Beijing Winter Olympic Games officially kicked off, wishing the Winter Olympic athletes good results!
