Xiaomi Group said in a statement that an annual assessment conducted by privacy compliance firm TrustArc has concluded that Xiaomi Group's processing of customers' personal data complies with the requirements of the EUROPEAN Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Since the regulation came into effect in 2018, Xiaomi Group has been undergoing an annual audit by TrustArc. Xiaomi Group said it strives to comply with the highest standards of user privacy policies and practices.
According to the financial report, as of November 22, 2021, the number of MIUI global 30-day monthly active users exceeded 500 million. In the third quarter of 2021, Xiaomi's overseas market revenue was RMB40.9 billion, accounting for 52.4% of total revenue, and in the channels of overseas operators excluding India, Xiaomi's smartphone shipments exceeded 6.8 million units, an increase of more than 130% year-on-year.
