You Guodong recalled that when he was in elementary school, he saw the Winter Olympics on TV and felt that the curling competition was particularly interesting, and he was on the ice near his home, simulating curling with bricks with children. Today, modern ice and snow sports venues have sprung up, and Beijing has become the only "city of double Olympics". He lamented that the motherland was getting stronger and stronger. After 110 meters and 1 minute of running, You Guodong handed over the torch to the torchbearers who followed: "We smiled and said 'come on'!" ”

As a takeaway rider, You Guodong has had an 8-year military career. In 2006, at the age of 19, he boarded a green-skinned train and rushed to a unit station in Yunnan, becoming a border guard soldier, sticking to the southern Xinjiang of the motherland, and joining the party under the inspiration of heroic deeds. Eight years later, You Guodong retired from the army and returned to his hometown in Hebei. In 2016, by chance, he came to Beijing as a takeaway rider, from Changping to Shunyi to Chaoyang, and did it for 5 years. "I am now running to the Wangjing area, there are many large companies nearby, Xiadu Homestead, East Lake Bay and other communities, I am also very familiar with." Delivering takeaways, he hardly looks at the navigation, and can immediately identify the direction wherever he goes.

This 110 meters is not difficult for You Guodong, who is born of infantry and has been running in the streets for a long time to deliver food, but when running, every step is extremely careful, and the waist plate is straight. In 2019, due to his outstanding performance in peacetime, party member rider You Guodong, as one of the representatives of the outstanding riders of the Meituan takeaway, participated in the mass parade for the 70th anniversary of the founding of New China. In 2021, as a representative of excellent takeaway riders, he once again participated in the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the party. Every time you walk in Tiananmen Square, You Guodong feels glorious and proud.
