Essay: "Awe" can stop

On February 3, Mibu-to-Shinki's first three.

The Xiurong Academy Museum is not as many people as imagined, and it is precisely because of traditional customs.

There are many taboos in traditional culture. Taboos are not superstitions, but to a greater extent a reverence for nature and life!

When human wisdom is infinitely stimulated, the existence of reverence is actually a potential force that can enable human life to love itself, to respect itself, and to be sustainable. This power has been preserved in our traditional culture for a long time, and it has been passed on continuously, especially during festivals.

When I was young, I always remembered that during the Spring Festival, the adults in the family would say something that could not be done on a certain day, what could not be done on a certain day, and why they could not never talk about it. It is estimated that adults have heard it from childhood, and may not really understand the truth, but this kind of reverence has always been passed down like this.

For example, on the third day of the first lunar month, you cannot use knives and scissors. Originally I didn't understand why, but now it's easy to find the corresponding explanation. It is more appropriate to say that if the knife and scissors are moved in the third year of the first year, it is easy to be gossiped about, or someone behind it says that they are not good, and because of the reason of right and wrong, it may also affect the fortune of the year.

There is also a taboo on the third day of the first lunar month, that is, you can't fight rats on this day. Legend has it that this day is the day when the rats marry their wives, so not only can not beat the rats, but also sprinkle some grain in the corner so that the rats can eat it, because on the day of the rat's marriage, they can eat well, and the food in the family will not be wasted in the days to come.

Of course, when observing these taboos, most people do not really pursue the end, but only to seek a peace of mind. However, "peace of mind" is precisely a kind of reverence.

In fact, many folk "taboos" that have been passed down for thousands of years are a "secular" culture and a psychological force in the lives of ordinary people.

Essay: "Awe" can stop

In traditional customs, the third day of the first lunar month is to worship the ancestors. Therefore, until nearly noon today, there are still relatively few people. In the afternoon, the number of tourists increased again.

In the exhibition hall of the "Nine Elements of the Nine Elements", I heard the dialogue between a father and daughter, which was very touching. The girl was supposed to be a lower elementary school student. When he looked at the classics in the display case, he said to his father, "Dad, you see this is the Classic of Mountains and Seas, I have read it." Her father said, "Have you seen this?" The daughter said, "Yeah, there's something in the mythological story." Listening to his daughter's words, the father lowered his head and looked carefully at the exhibits in the display case to confirm that his daughter was right. Later, before each exhibit, the girl would read the instructions placed in front of the exhibit. When I encounter a word I don't know, I will ask my father. With them were two old men, not knowing whether they were the child's grandparents or grandparents. The two old men were also very happy to see the children reading the contents of the exhibits, and praised the children for only one year of learning to know a lot of words, and it turned out that the children were first-grade students of primary school.

It's hard to say how much of an impact this trip to the museum will have on the child, and perhaps by the time she grows up, it will be forgotten. But at least it will leave an indelible mark on her subconscious.

Just like so many people who come to the museum, some people are very interested and appreciate it very carefully in front of the exhibits. Some people didn't think so, and soon left. However, I believe that anyone who has seriously seen the exhibits here will leave an impression. Only one person who enriches his heart, especially if he allows the culture to take root, can have more reverence and love for nature and life.
