In November 2021, the Beijing Winter Olympic Organizing Committee decided to include the Chongli Plateau (National Comprehensive) Training Base, the Hebei Laiyuan National Ski Jumping Training and Scientific Research Base, and the National Hebei Chengde Sports Training Base (hereinafter referred to as the "Three Bases") into the scope of closed-loop management venues of the Beijing Winter Olympics to ensure that the national team can carry out isolated training at professional training venues after returning home from foreign training.
All 14 snow sports national teams participating in the Winter Olympics are assembled in the "three bases". Since December 26, 2021, the Chongli Plateau (National Comprehensive) Training Base has successively undertaken 11 national teams in snow sports such as alpine skiing, freestyle skiing aerial skills, snow skills, U-shaped tracks, big jumps and slope obstacle courses, obstacle chases, snowboard obstacle chases, U-shaped tracks, big jumps and slope obstacle courses, parallel giant slaloms, and cross-country skiing. On January 5, Hebei Laiyuan National Ski Jumping Training and Scientific Research Base undertook the ski jumping team and Nordic biathlon team that returned from overseas. On January 18, the National Hebei Chengde Sports Training Base undertook the biathlon team returning from overseas.

Among these teams, 57 athletes participated in the Beijing Winter Olympics, accounting for 91.9% of the 62 athletes in the snow sports and 32.4% of the 176 athletes in the Chinese delegation. In accordance with the requirements of Secretary Wang Dongfeng that "we must strengthen the closed-loop management of the whole process in a strict and down-to-earth manner to ensure that the epidemic prevention and control is foolproof", the "three major bases" conscientiously implement the decision-making and deployment of the provincial party committee and the provincial government, and as a political task, make every effort to do a good job in the service guarantee work in the final "sprint" stage of the national team. The territorial governments and health, public security, transportation and other departments have adhered to the political position and responsibility, coordinated the prevention and control of the epidemic and the preparation training, and made every effort to provide strong support for the isolation training of the national team. Under the guidance of the General Administration of Sport, health departments at all levels have studied and formulated a series of plans and plans for epidemic prevention and control, medical rescue, and emergency handling, summarized and edited the "Base Epidemic Prevention and Control Manual", and strictly implemented various measures for epidemic prevention and control; public security departments at all levels have strengthened security forces, set up isolation facilities, strictly managed the entry and exit of personnel and vehicles, and arranged police vehicle guidance and escort; Zhang Zefeng, director of the Provincial Sports Bureau, personally took command, and Deputy Director Tian Jiangong led the team to carry out preparatory work more than 40 days in advance, and set up two working groups inside and outside the closed loop of the base. According to incomplete statistics, the "three bases" have invested a total of more than 40 snowmaking support teams, using a variety of advanced snowmaking equipment, lasting 90 days, accumulating more than 600,000 cubic meters of snowmaking, and building more than 10 tracks such as indoor U-shaped venues, snow skills, alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, slope obstacle courses, obstacle chases, biathlon, ski jumping, bigAIR big jumping, etc. Specially hired 5 foreign professional site repair technicians to maintain and maintain the U-shaped field, snow skills, slope obstacle skills and other venues with high technical content to ensure the quality of training. Hebei Laiyuan National Ski Jumping Training and Scientific Research Base is equipped with 4 professional and technical personnel to fully ensure the safe operation of the wind tunnel laboratory, and the Chongli Plateau (National Comprehensive) Training Base is equipped with 2 professionals to maintain special training equipment; 39 medical and epidemic prevention personnel are arranged to carry out services in the base, and more than 50 times of various epidemic prevention knowledge and business training are organized; 13989 nucleic acid personnel samples and 2761 samples of environmental goods have been tested.
