A life of struggle is meaningful— reading Robinson Crusoe has a feeling

This winter vacation, I read the British writer Defoe's "Robinson Crusoe" and felt a lot.

Robinson's family was well-off, but he had dreams of sailing at sea since he was a child, and he went out sailing with his good friends and learned some skills. Once, when he was departing from Brazil, and his voyage encountered a huge tsunami and a storm, and all but him died at sea, and he drifted to a deserted island, and in despair he found what was broken on the ship and the wild fruits he had picked in the forest, and he caught the beast with the gun on the broken ship, and lived on the uninhabited island for 28 years.

How could an ordinary person survive for so many years on a deserted island with only a few guns and some counted rice and wheat? He didn't even wear shoes. I can't imagine how hard Robinson's life really is, if I were Robinson, would I be able to withstand all the difficulties? He had made a simple cigarette leaf, water and a small amount of food to make something to eat when he had a high fever and no medicine, and his limbs were weak for several days, but he was convinced that his illness would get better. Finally, he overcame the disease with his tenacious will. He does not despair because of some things related to survival, it tells people not to lose courage in difficulties, courage and perseverance are the most precious, without it, you will live in difficulties for life!

I should have learned from him, my grades on the final exams dropped dramatically, and in my depression I remembered Defoe's Robinson, yes, Robinson could live actively in such a harsh environment, how could I be discouraged? Occasional failures in learning do not mean anything, as long as you listen attentively to the lectures in class, review more after class, and be positive, success will definitely be not far away.

The sky is not always blue, the water is not always clear, the grass is not always green, the flowers are not always bright, life can not be smooth, "Robinson Crusoe" told me: only struggle, only persistence, only hard work, only positive life has meaning!
