With the acquisition of Solvay's high-performance polyamide business in Europe in 2020, DOMO has now become the exclusive global producer of TECHNYL and fully manages all of its commercialization activities, and DOMO will better serve the global market with the brand's nearly 70 years of extensive industry experience. Founded in 1953, TECHNYL offers a wide range of solutions based on polyamide 66 / polyamide 6 and has been widely used in a variety of industries.

In fact, key application areas for TECHNYL materials include high heat and chemical resistance materials, lightweight engineering material solutions (alternative to metals, aluminum and thermosets), flame retardant materials for advanced electrical protection, highly aesthetic materials, and innovative solutions resistant to extrusion and friction and wear.

Moreover, in the field of electronically connected transportation, in addition to the new orange flame retardant TECHNYL material (a product designed for high-voltage components and cables), DOMO also offers a variety of solutions with different mechanical properties, hydrolysis resistance, different flame retardant needs, and different impact resistance properties for various battery components.

In addition to this, the TECHNYL 4EARTH series is a fairly competitive and sustainable alternative to polyamide. Life cycle assessments show that the product's carbon footprint has been reduced by a quarter compared to conventional compounds, the consumption of non-renewable resources has been halved, and water consumption has been reduced by more than two-thirds.
