NASA announced the destruction of the International Space Station by 2031 and the wreckage would plunge into the sea

IT House Reported Feb. 3 that NASA said it plans to extend the operation of the International Space Station until 2030, decommissioning the station in January 2031 and plunging it into a remote area of the Pacific Ocean, commonly known as Nemo Point.

NASA announced the destruction of the International Space Station by 2031 and the wreckage would plunge into the sea

It House understands that Nemo Point has been the site of hundreds of space debris drops for years, about 3,000 miles (about 4,828.03 kilometers) off new Zealand's east coast and 2,000 miles north of Antarctica, making it the most remote place on Earth and the furthest from human settlements in any direction, where satellites and rockets are buried.

Since hosting its first astronauts in 2000, the International Space Station has been a temporary home for more than 200 astronauts from 19 countries. NASA said that in the final days before the INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION derailed, some spacecraft would be sent to the International Space Station, not equipped with personnel, but only to help push it to Earth. This process can be done by three Russian Progress spacecraft and one Northrop Grumman Cygnus spacecraft.

Without the International Space Station, NASA will rely on the private sector to help continue its space science research.
