Throughout the night, obstetricians and gynecologists and nurses stayed by Ms. Zhao's side, guiding her pre-delivery preparations and doing a good job of soothing her emotions.
At 10:30 a.m. on Feb. 2, she was admitted to the negative pressure operating room. At 11:53, under the common expectation of everyone, there was good news, Ms. Chen gave birth to a healthy "little tiger cub" through smooth delivery, weighing 3420 grams, and the mother and child were safe.
"The labor process was still relatively smooth, and it was also cooperated by other departments in the hospital, and it was born in 5-6 hours, and everyone was very happy at that time." Liu Jing, deputy chief physician of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology responsible for delivering the baby, introduced it.
When she learned that the baby was born, Ms. Zhao was both excited and moved. She said that although there were small twists and turns in the epidemic, she felt very warm and at ease throughout the delivery process with great help from the community and the hospital.
