Beijing News Express (reporter Wu Wei) On the morning of February 2, the Torch of the Beijing Winter Olympic Games was passed in the Olympic Forest Park, with a total distance of 10.6 kilometers, completed by 132 torchbearers.

In the Olympic Forest Park, which symbolizes the "central axis charm", the torchbearers stride with their heads held high and passionate, and walk along the fitness trail in turn, showing their own style in a healthy, joyful and energetic atmosphere.

Today, the first torchbearer to pass the torch is Luo Zhihuan, a Chinese athlete who won the men's 1500m championship at the 57th World Speed Skating Championships in 1963 and the first winter sports world champion.

After the first torch relay run, he said in an interview with the live media: "I am very excited, I did not participate in the Winter Olympic Games at the peak of the athletes, very regrettable. This year, I was able to pass the torch on behalf of the older generation of athletes at my doorstep, and my dream was fulfilled. ”

Since Luo Zhihuan is more than 80 years old, the Beijing Winter Olympic Organizing Committee has specially equipped him as a torchbearer with a temporary assistant. After Luo Zhihuan's first torch relay run, his temporary assistant, Gu Haoyan from the Market Development Department of the Beijing Winter Olympics Organizing Committee, was interviewed by a reporter from the Beijing News, revealing the story of Luo Lao's preparation for the torch relay run.

Gu Haoyan's docking service Luo Zhihuan should be responsible for the successful completion of the torch relay according to the process on the day of the torch relay. Luo Zhihuan was the first torchbearer, and Gu Haoyan twice went to the scene of the starting ceremony to participate in the rehearsal and walked the "moving line" passed by the torchbearer. He wrote down when he would play and what kind of moves he needed to do, and conveyed them to Luo Zhihuan.

"Luo is older and has some weakening of his hearing, but his comprehension ability is very strong. The whole process of torch relay, I said it again, he was clear. Gu Haoyan told reporters that Luo Zhihuan was very excited to serve as a torchbearer and pass the torch of the Beijing Winter Olympics: "He told me that he served as the torchbearer of the 2008 Olympic Games and now as the torchbearer of the Beijing Winter Olympics, as an athlete in a winter event, such an honor makes him feel extremely excited." ”

Worried that Luo Zhihuan was old and excited, Gu Haoyan also repeatedly told Luo Zhihuan before the torch was passed, don't worry, step by step, a little slower.

On the morning of February 2, the first torchbearer Luo Zhihuan successfully completed his torch relay task. Gu Haoyan, the temporary assistant who served Luo Zhihuan at the scene, sighed: "He ran down for about 2 minutes, and today his performance greatly exceeded our expectations and was completed too well." Gu Haoyan said that his mental outlook, demeanor and posture have exceeded everyone's expectations, and his thinking was very clear when he was interviewed by reporters after running. Gu Haoyan said that the short time together also made him feel Luo Zhihuan's contribution to the development of China's ice and snow sports, and felt Luo Zhihuan's enthusiasm for China's Olympic cause.
