Mayweather enters NAZCA Racing and bluntly says she loves adventure

Mayweather announced his foray into NASCAR racing, but mistook the boxing legend not to appear in the driver's seat. Instead, he would watch his team's cars cheer for it from the sidelines.

The "TMT Team Racing" will debut next month in the race of the Daytona 500, the most iconic race in NAZCA racing, which will begin on February 20. Tony Yuri Jr. will be the captain of the fleet. Yuri Jr. worked with Dale Enhart Jr., along with Dannyka Patrick.

Mayweather explained the reasons for moving into motorsport racing, claiming in a press release that his adventure into NAZCA racing was not easy, but he was prepared for the challenge. "I like fast cars, I like competition. I know it won't be easy to go into NASCAR racing, but anything simple isn't worth doing," Mayweather said. "Having said that, the move seems to be a good fit for the Mayweather brand."

In the same press release, Mayweather's racing driver KazGrala said he was excited to work with the boxer and represent him on the track.

"It is an honour to be on the steering wheel for Floyd Mayweather to enter NASCAR. It's a really exciting time in our movement as it globalizes and reaches new audiences. ”

"I know Mayweather is here to win and I definitely feel that everyone involved in this project is capable of doing that. We knew that as a new organization, we needed some time to grow together, but I was very happy to be involved in building this team from start to finish. ”

Mayweather isn't the only one to enter NAZCA, UFC President Dana Bai has also teamed up with musical artist Pitt Bull to join the racing group, which will take part in the race to take place on February 6, 2022.
