This photograph was taken during the War of Resistance Against Japan, with the Japanese invaders standing on either side with guns and the Chinese captured by the Japanese in the middle.

You can see that among the captured Chinese, some are ordinary people, and some are Chinese soldiers, especially the three women in the front row who are still wearing military uniforms and military hats.

Although these women were captured, they still stood straight, and it is conceivable that their military discipline was quite good.

It was only the Kuomintang authorities at that time who carried out a policy of non-resistance against the Japanese invaders, which led to the soldiers below being either captured or on the way to retreat.

According to the brutal behavior of the Japanese invaders at that time, these captured female soldiers may have suffered a tragic accident in the end.
