A low-code 2021 can be summed up in terms of hot and differentiated.

The concept of low code has been around for a long time, but this year we've seen it catch fire again, and the whole market is flooded with low-code sounds.

There are more players entering the game, both the head of the Internet manufacturers such as Ali, Tencent, Huawei, NetEase, etc. have pushed their low-code products, there are also traditional software manufacturers such as Kingdee, Yonyou, and a large number of startups, there are many products for users to choose on the market.

Rough calculations currently have hundreds of low-code manufacturers on the market; news of various financings emerges in an endless stream, and it is not uncommon for some products to raise multiple rounds of financing in a year; various controversies and praises for low-code have made this concept more topical this year, some people look at it, and some people are advocating it. In short, the low-code industry is very hot this year, attracting countless eyeballs.

Differentiation - This year, a large number of players have entered the low-code track, and the competition in the low-code market has gradually intensified, and the differentiated competition has become more and more important. Differentiation is mainly reflected in several aspects:

First, the differentiation of the use of roles, mainly reflected in the zero code tools for business personnel and low code tools for developers, which are essentially two types of products, and the ease of use of products and the depth of problem solving are different;

Second, the difference between general-purpose low-code products and vertical low-code products in the industry, the former is more universal to all walks of life, and the latter aims at industries such as manufacturing, finance and other industries to build a moat;

Third, the differentiation of business models, some product subscription revenue and the construction of direct sales system-based commercial model, while some manufacturers will combine their own advantages to build a low-code full-link ecosystem.

All in all, we see a lot of innovation and differentiation in the low-code market this year.

2021 is a milestone year for Jiandaoyun, and it is also a year full of hardships. From the perspective of operating results, Jiandao Cloud's sales in 2021 exceeded 100 million, an increase of nearly 80% year-on-year, behind the numbers on the one hand reflects the general recognition of users for Jiandao Cloud products, and also reflects our further commercialization process, of course, behind the numbers are also full of various challenges.

From the perspective of product capabilities and user value, in the past year, users of Jiandao Cloud have built more than 800,000 applications based on Jiandao Cloud, of which more than 80% of the applications are built by business personnel who do not understand technology. Our ability to continue refining the aPaaS platform iterates over 90 product features to further improve ease of use and flexibility. We improve the value delivery efficiency by improving the vertical scenario solution, as well as helping customers achieve out-of-the-box faster, and this year our vertical scenario solution has been installed more than 200,000 times. We will also continue to refine the ability to open up to meet the individual needs of the longer tail.

At the same time, this year, we are also actively breaking through the boundaries of our own product capabilities, helping more enterprises to improve the efficiency of upstream and downstream collaboration, helping more enterprises to extend digital innovation from within the enterprise to the outside of the enterprise, and we have successfully helped more than 8,000 enterprises to achieve more than 1.5 million upstream and downstream collaborations this year.

In short, in 2021, for Jiandao Cloud, there are opportunities, challenges, breakthroughs, and various difficulties, but the original intention of insisting on creating more value for users is unwavering.

Looking ahead to 2022, there are several key points for Jiandao Cloud:

First, stabilize the basic disk. Basic Disk refers to the ease of use of the Jiandao Cloud Platform and the flexibility of our customers as a whole. The market competition is becoming more and more fierce, which is the advantage of Jiandao Cloud from other products, and we need to continue to maintain our leading competitiveness;

Second, vertical and open. Low-code products are not a panacea, do not solve all the needs of all customers, compared to vertical products in some vertical scenarios, the degree of functional satisfaction and ease of use is indeed insufficient. However, these deficiencies can be improved and perfected, we will continue to strengthen the polishing of vertical scenes in 2022, through vertical suites and open capabilities, improve the personalized needs of more vertical scenarios and integrate more external excellent solutions, and strive to achieve the same functional value and user experience as vertical standardized products, while being able to surpass vertical standardized products in terms of flexibility.

Third, interconnection and external collaboration. In 2021, we released the Enterprise Interconnection Module to guide customers to expand digital innovation from within the organization to the outside of the organization, such as collaboration with suppliers and customers, to help customers improve the efficiency and user experience of collaboration with external partners, and this attempt has achieved good results in 2021. In 2022, we will continue to deepen the enterprise interconnection module, explore more application scenarios for external collaboration, and explore new business models in external collaboration scenarios, and strive to become the second growth curve of Jiandao Cloud.
