According to Rolls-Royce official, the Phantom Orchid was based on a long-axis version of the Phantom, led by Michael Bryden, chief designer of Rolls-Royce Custom who had participated in the Fast SG50, and took two years to create.
"Throughout the design, we pursue a balanced beauty, while incorporating more new design thinking, orchids are very common in asia, we hope to pass on a spirit through Phantom Orchid, no matter how the surrounding environment changes, we can adapt calmly and continue to develop." Michael Bryden said.
As with each of Rolls-Royce's limited-edition custom models, in addition to the design of the customization team, there are also some artistic masters involved, the Phantom Orchid interior control panel part, by the British artist Helen Amy Murray himself, using his original abstract silk design to make the car have a piece of orchid, lifelike.
At the same time, the table plate on the back of the seat, the welcome tread and the connection between the fender and the engine canopy also have an orchid pattern embedded, which echoes the name of Phantom Orchid.
In terms of body appearance, Phantom Orchid uses a special color for the whole vehicle, according to its official statement, this color is based on Arctic white as the base color, followed by a little violet color, while through a special process to incorporate very fine glass particles into it. Therefore, we cannot clearly describe what color this is.
