Ultra-wideband technology is becoming more widespread, and MacOS 12.3 may support UWB

Apple this week released the latest version of MacOS Monterey Bay 12.3 beta version, in addition to adding new features, many users also found in internal files, support for UWB features of the program.

UWB technology was a military-specific technology in the early days, until 2002 the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) was not adopted for commercial use, through pulse (Pulse) technology, UWB can transmit hundreds of MB of data per second, and energy consumption and interference is quite low, as a data transmission and positioning equipment is very suitable.

Although the UWB-enabled program architecture appeared in the beta of MacOS 12.3, since the current iPad series does not support UWB, it is uncertain whether Apple will let the iPad or the Mac be equipped with a U1 chip first.

Apple is currently rumored to hold an online conference in March or April, and the outside world believes that the conference is likely to announce the new iPhone SE3, as well as iPad or Mac series products equipped with U1 chips and supporting UWB functions.
