Astronauts on the International Space Station will perform a spacewalk to directly release 6 small satellites

IT House January 29 news, according to the Russian satellite news agency, the "Progress MS-19" cargo spacecraft will be launched on February 15, to the International Space Station. The cargo spacecraft will send six small CubeSats to the International Space Station, which astronauts will personally put into orbit during subsequent spacewalks.

These small CubeSats were developed by Southwestern State University in Russia for scientific and educational experiments.

IT House learned that the "Soyuz 2.1a" carrier rocket will be ignited and launched at the Baikonur Cosmodrome on February 15 at 7:25 Moscow time, sending the Progress MS-19 cargo spacecraft into orbit. According to official preliminary sources, the Progress MS-19 cargo spacecraft will dock with the International Space Station and fly together for more than a year (370 days).

China's National Space Administration said on January 28 that China and Russia are expected to sign an intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in international lunar research stations as soon as possible this year to jointly build an international lunar research station, which is expected to be completed in 2035.
