Garmin announces the 2022 Professional Cycling Team and Athlete Sponsorship List

Garmin will sponsor more than 15 professional cycling teams and hundreds of professional running, cycling and triathletes for the 2022 event in 2022, all of whom will choose reliable Garmin gear to help them achieve their goals.

Sponsored cycling teams and athletes will be equipped with top-of-the-line gear to represent Garmin in global events, including:

Forerunner running watches, such as the high-end Forerunner 945, not only directly record running and cycling data, but also can monitor, count, batch process the data, providing detailed information on sports performance, training records and goals.

The Edge Bike Smart Code meter family, including the Edge 530, Edge 830 and Edge 1030 Plus, provides riders with training data and metrics, as well as GPS and navigation support.

The cutting-edge NEO 2T Smart Bike with a measurement error of less than 1% is known for its unique road feel, dynamic inertia and downhill simulation capabilities to make training feel more realistic.

Varia RTL515 Bicycle TailLight Radar, which alerts when a vehicle behind is approaching during training, lights up and flashes to alert the driver that there is a rider ahead.

Index S2 Smart Body Fat Scale provides athletes with key training body data, including weight, BMI and body composition.

Quick Step-Alpha Vinyl Team ("Quick Step Team") has joined the 2022 Sponsored Team lineup and is licensed to use Garmin products. The team has been using Garmin training gear for years, and it's made up of 30 riders from 13 countries, including current world champion Julian Alaphillippe, who has won nearly 800 UCI wins. The team will continue to train with the NEO 2T Smart Bike Station and is equipped with a full Garmin wellness ecosystem, including Edge smart meters, Varia taillight radar and high-end wearables.

Ineos Grenadiers Racing ("INEOS Racing") has been equipped with Garmin riding gear for many years. The fleet will launch the Full Garmin package in 2022. Over the years, Ineos team has been crossing the finish line with Garmin gear, a team of 31 riders who have chosen the powerful and accurate NEO 2T Smart Bike in training.

Jumbo-Visma Jumbo Racing ("Jumbo Racing") plans to continue using Garmin riding gear in 2022. The team consists of a men's, women's and reserve teams that will train and race with edge smart GPS meters, Index S2 smart body fat scales, high-end smart sports watches, NEO 2T Smart bikes and more.
