After Pei Renyuan, the dye king of the Republic of China, bought the lion forest, he asked Liu Linchuan to preside over the reconstruction of the lion forest, and the large and small buildings in the park were inlaid with various colored imported glass windows. Buildings such as Yanyutang, Zhibaixuan, Shifang, and Qingmeige all have the use of stained glass, and the degree of vividness is different. The stained glass of the Lion Grove, small and delicate, is embedded in the unique carved window ledges, or plain and elegant, or exquisite, or colorful and dazzling, and so on. The Lion Forest has the most ornate glass windows in The Suzhou Garden. Whenever light shines through the stained glass windows, the space will be rendered colorful and full of mystery, making this Jiangnan garden have a special taste.
