The land of the hometown has a name, "Eight Thousand Generations", "Police Station", "Two Hundred Hangings"...

When I was a child, my family was in the countryside, with mountains and water, fields and land.

According to the custom in northern Saibei, the fields are called land, whether it is dry land or rice fields where rice is grown. Rice fields, sorghum fields, millet fields, vegetable fields, and most of all stick fields, that is, corn fields.

The village sits in a small basin, and a tidal river passes through the foot of Nanshan Mountain. Fertile land means drought and impermanence. The harvest in a good year is too good to be true, and the year of arrears will not cause a famine and lack of food.

The folk customs of the hometown are rough, but each piece of land has a gentle name. The land has a name, just like a person has a name, the impression of childhood, and each piece of land has its own character, just like her name.

"Yachiyo" is the farthest from home and the largest in area, on the banks of the Chao River, at the foot of Nanshan Mountain. Over the mountain, there is a village called Narrow Ridge, so there is a small name "Narrow Ridge Liangxia" on the southernmost side of the Eight Thousand Lands.

I remember that when I first went to elementary school, my sister made a meal for me to send to my parents who worked under the "Narrow Ridge Beam", and I ran all the way to the Narrow Ridge Village. Halfway to the middle of the road, he was stopped by the villagers to ask where to go, and only then did he know that he had made a joke.

The name "Coldly" sounds terrifying. Originally planted with hawthorn trees, the price of hawthorn fell overnight, and the hawthorn trees were cut down the following year. It is said that it used to be a mass grave, but it was only opened up after the founding of the country.

Originally in the middle of the "village basin", the road has been built in recent years and passed through it. Greenhouses were built on both sides of the road, and the scale was grand, and it had long ceased to be what it used to be.

The "police station" is a police station during the former Kuomintang rule, next to the old highway. Because of the high terrain and relatively arid, it has always been the place where sweet potatoes and potatoes are grown. So much so that when I was a child, I had the impression that the police station was the place where the police were in that kind of potato.

One of the places that has always puzzled me is called "West Henan". Because the Chaohe River runs east-west, and the West River is on the north side of the river, there is no "West River", and it is not in Henan, but I don't know why it is called such a name.

In fact, there are not many cases where a piece of land can have its own exclusive name, this kind of land with a name is the nobles in the land, belonging to the upper class, and only with a name is the status and status, and the other places are more named with landmarks and directions.

For example: dam roots, east woods, front gate, big ditch, small ditch, big henan, big river east and so on.

There is also a type of land, which belongs to the "bastards" in the land, also called "small pieces", which are privately reclaimed by industrious villagers. The simple villagers have newly reclaimed a small piece of land, and they are happy that they want to swear sovereignty, so they must choose a name, because the cultural level is different, and the names are also various.

The size and shape of the land of "arm and limb nest" are clear at a glance; the "two hundred hangings" pinned on the beautiful expectations of the pioneers; although the "coffin ditch" sounds a little scary, another use of this land is also revealed.

The most classic piece of land is called "fart collapse", uh, there is an inner taste...

(Do you remember the name of the fields in your hometown?) Come out and talk. )
