For a time, a large number of netizens poured into the National Library, and many netizens commented that "the computer cannot enter the web page", "can not open at all, the video is a black screen", "it is impossible to log in".
On January 26, the National Library responded that it had never received any donations from any institution or individual for the "New Oriental Elite Course" resources. At present, the "New Oriental Multimedia Learning Library" resource provided on the national map website is a commercial database purchased by the national map in 2008, and since then, the national map has successively purchased new course resources according to the funding situation every year, and provides services to the public free of charge.
In addition, the National Library added, "According to the agreement between our library and the database operator Beijing New Oriental Xuncheng Network Technology Co., Ltd., the database only provides local area network and remote access services through our library, and cannot provide mobile (APP) services."
