Arsenal may be ready to fly to Dubai during the international match day, but Arteta took the lead in flying to Denver to meet Arsenal boss Kroenke.

With the mid-season winter break on the horizon, the arsenal team travelled to Dubai this week for training camp.
Ideally, the club would like as many members of the squad to be involved in the Trip to the Middle East as possible, and even plan to bring injured players such as Kenyo Fuan with them. Up to 30 players will travel to Dubai.
But according to the Evening Standard, Obama Young will not go with the team. He has been out of Arsenal's matchday squad for almost 2 months and is not currently expected to participate in this training camp.
Arsenal's technical director Edu and operations director Garrick also plan to stay at the club and handle possible transfer deals.
If they can complete some reinforcements in the next few days, Arsenal will try to arrange for these players to travel to Dubai to join the team.
At the moment it seems unlikely that this will happen immediately, with none of Arsenal's potential signing targets close to a deal complete.
Arsenal will return from Dubai next Wednesday, while the winter window will be closed next Monday.
If there is no significant progress in the next few days, it may be too late.
