However, the power of the revolution in Russia at that time was not strong, and professional revolutionaries often had difficulty escaping prison, and the first prison disaster in Dzerzhinsky's life occurred in 1897.
In March 1897, Dzerzhinsky came to Kovno and led a strike support campaign on the outskirts of the city, but due to a leak by traitors, he was arrested in July 1987 and sentenced to three years of exile. In April 1906, Dzerzhinsky attended the Fourth Congress of the Russian Social Democratic Labour Party, where he met the leader of the Red Revolution for the first time, Lenin, and was arrested several times since then, in December 1906, not released on bail until May 1907, and arrested in April 1908, this time sentenced to lifelong exile, then secretly escaping and leading underground work in Warsaw and other areas, and then arrested in 1912 and 1916, respectively.
