Recently, we learned from Chery Automobile that the price of its new model OMODA 5 is expected to be about 110,000-150,000 yuan, positioned as a medium-sized SUV, and the new car is expected to be officially launched in the second quarter of 2022.
In terms of appearance, the appearance of OMODA 5 adopts the design concept of "Art in motion", using a borderless grille, the inverted trapezoidal middle mesh is huge in size, and the interior is diamond-shaped decoration, full of personality. The two sides adopt a split headlight group, the upper LED daytime running lights are integrated with the middle network, and the lower headlights also use LED light sources, and the entire front face shape is very dynamic.
The body side adopts the posture of a coupe SUV, the roof has a clear downward design, the all-black rim, with the tail wing and the slipback shape, it enhances the sporty temperament of this SUV. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4400*1830*1585mm, and the wheelbase is 2630mm.
In terms of interior, the new car continues the contrast design of the appearance, the overall style is simple, equipped with double 12.3-inch large joint screen, the center console is almost not equipped with physical buttons, the overall feeling is fresh and bright.
In terms of power, the OMODA 5 will be powered by a Kunpeng powered 1.6TGDI engine with a maximum power of 145 kW (197 hp) and a peak torque of 290 Nm. And the follow-up also launched hybrid and pure electric versions.
