A total of 15 films from all over the world were shortlisted in the main competition section of this year's film festival, including three Chinese films, namely "Hometown Heart" directed by Qin Hailu; "Spring Tide" directed by Yang Lina and starring Hao Lei and Jin Yanling; and "Desperate for Danger" directed by Gan Jianyu and starring Dapeng, Ou Hao and Li Meng.
This year's Golden Jubilee Jury is led by Turkish director Nuri Bige Ceylon, a frequent visitor to international A-category film festivals whose film "Hibernation" won the Palme d'Or at the 67th Cannes Film Festival and the Grand Jury Prize at the 56th Cannes Film Festival in 2003 for His work Far Away. Chinese actors Zhao Tao and Yong Mei jointly presented the Best Actor of this year's Golden Jubilee Awards, and this year's Golden Jubilee Awards for Best Actor have two winners, namely Chang Feng in "Homesickness" and Hamad Sabery Beddard in "Castle of Dreams". This year, 5 outstanding works were shortlisted for each of the documentary and animation units. In the end, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia won the best documentary award for the film "Bridge of Time", which tells the story of the early 1960s, when the pioneers of French "real cinema" began to explore a kind of realist film, and Quebec's "direct film" began to attract attention, the Baltic states (present-day Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia) witnessed the birth of a new generation of documentary filmmakers who preferred to see the world around them from a romantic perspective.
The Japanese animation work "If I Could Ride the Waves with You" won the Best Animated Film Award.
