GI said that the previous drag racing battle in "Sopranos 3" was mainly shot from the window, while "Sopranos 4" became almost useless due to the addition of superpowers; the rebooted version no longer has superpowers, and the vehicle driving system was redone, making drag racing more dependent on the vehicle itself, rather than the window gun.
The rebooted driving system has 2 major features, one is that it can make the car crash left/right with just one button, which can be used to knock the enemy vehicle out of the road or cause damage to it. The second is that there is a new drift system, and the camera will have a cool tilt and zoom effect when the vehicle is turning sharply.
GI said that the drag racing experience of The Sopranos Reboot is very similar to Mario Kart, which is a high praise. All vehicles in this game are basically deflected at a fixed angle when drifting, so there is no need to worry about the handbrake being pulled too hard to cause the rear of the car to deflect, or the speed to decrease too much. The design isn't realistic enough, but it's easy for players to drive, and GI says they have to drift every time they try to play because it's fun.
In addition, in this game, the player can also stand on the top of the vehicle (during the vehicle driving), which can shoot all the enemies around it; and the game also adds a gliding wing, when the vehicle is fast enough, the player standing on the roof can take off directly, can fly to a long distance, or fly to the top of another car and take it for themselves.
GI said that flying around with gliders is very, very interesting, in addition to taking off from the roof of the car, players can also take off from the top of tall buildings or hills, in addition to the city there are some facilities dedicated to players taking off from flat ground, but they are not easy to find, so driving on the ground in the game is still an important way to travel.
When using gliders, players can also rely on dive acceleration- re-ascent to significantly increase flight time. The sense of speed and handling when flying is pretty good, and GI says the experience is probably somewhere between gliding in Super Mario World and gliding in Forrest Gump City.
However, GI pointed out that his shooting experience when he tried it was more mediocre, with a variety of pistols, assault weapons, and rocket launchers in the game, which were similar to the previous "Saints" games, and were enough to deal with most enemies. Some other interesting weapons are not yet available in the demo version.
