The domestic snowmobile jointly developed by China FAW Group Co., Ltd. and China Aerospace Science and Technology Group Co., Ltd. has recently been officially unveiled, and the relevant development process has also been unveiled.
In the research and development of domestic snowmobiles, China FAW is responsible for the overall plan and styling design, especially the research and development of core components such as frames, steering, brakes and ice knives.
In order to deeply understand the use needs of the snowmobile, the R & D personnel conducted multiple rounds of interviews with more than 20 athletes and coaches, and finally divided the use scenarios into 3 large scenarios and 10 sub-scenarios, and decomposed 46 functional requirements and 26 performance requirements.
R & D personnel said that domestic snowmobiles not only broke the long-term monopoly of foreign brands on China's snowmobile market, but also brought more scientific and technological elements to the upcoming Beijing Winter Olympics, and added some possibilities for the young Chinese snowmobile national team to achieve good results in the Winter Olympics.
