The U.S. Stock Research Agency has learned that according to Zhitong Financial News, Amazon (AMZN. US) and Netflix (NFLX. US) and other platforms, in partnership with Indian production company Clean Slate Filmz Pvt., will launch films and web series worth around Rs 4 billion ($54 million). India is one of the largest entertainment media markets in the world.
Karnesh Sharma, co-founder of Clean Slate Filmz, told the media that Bollywood-based Central Mumbai will release 8 movies and TV series on these top streaming sites as well as other platforms over the next 18 months.

The pandemic has forced people to spend online for entertainment, which has also allowed streaming companies to enter the Indian market with content on an unprecedented scale, and has also exposed India's nearly 1.4 billion people to different niche themes.
