The new version of the Sage Book reduces spell attack damage by 60 points (460400), removes the original passive increase of 1600 health, but increases the cooldown reduction by 10%, and the cooldown reduction is of obvious importance to mages who frequently cast skills.
Why is the new Sage Book a warm-up piece of equipment?
The passivity of the new Book of Sages has been changed to a mechanism similar to "warm-up", which first uses a skill or general attack hit, and then it can automatically stack passives for the next 8 seconds, and stacking passives increases damage by 16%.
This overlay process is only about time (one layer per second) and does not require skill hits to stack imprints, as was the case with the more traditional gameplay in the past.
To put it simply, the new version of the Book of Sages needs to warm up and trigger the passive, and then add damage during the passive stack and effective time, so this equipment is more suitable for mage heroes with continuous output.
For a set of explosive mages and magic assassin heroes, as well as mages with tools, the actual significance of the new version of the Book of Sages is not great.
For example: Yin Zheng, Shen Mengxi, Nuwa, Wang Zhaojun, Xiao Qiao, Gan General Mo Xie, Sable Cicada, Golden Cicada, Yang Yuhuan, Yi Xing, and even Zhuge Liang, who played the wild position, can all produce a new version of the Sage Book in the S26 season.

The first way: a more traditional way, the Echo Staff + The Wrath of the Polymath + the Big Stick cost a total of 5220 gold coins, and the big move can deal 8750+ damage.
The second way: after the Echo staff, without the anger of the polymath, decisively arrange a book of sages, a total of 5090 gold coins, do not stack the book of sages passively in advance, and the damage of the big move fluctuates at 8900+.
The third way: After the Echo staff, make a complete Sage Book, still cost 5090 gold, first hit the enemy front row with a skill, stack the Sage Book passive over time, and then release the big move to deal 9500+ damage.
In previous versions, most players liked to post a Book of Sages later in the game that increased mana by 460 mana and 1600 health.
In the S26 season version, the new version of the Sage Book can be prioritized to the 2nd-3rd position, and in the case of a small gold coin gap, its effect is much better than the past combination of echo staff + polymath's wrath!
