Li Zejun: My literary path
Personal Profile: Li Zejun, Yao, Guangxi Lipu people. He is a member of the China Ethnic Minority Writers Association, a member of the Chinese Novel Society, a member of the Guangxi Writers Association, and a contracted writer of the Young Writers Network. He has published novels such as "Reincarnation", "Hakka Legend Zhang Gaoyou", "Years", "The Edge of Love and Pain", the short story collection "Dream Back to the Tang Dynasty", the essay collection "Sorrow and Joy Between One Thought", and the poetry collection "Selected Poems of Li Zejun". He is the chief editor of a set of nine books in the "Autumn Yinong" literary series.
When I was a child, I especially admired my father, don't look at my father only the first Chinese, but he especially loved to read books and pens and wrote beautifully, was a regular visitor to the library in the township and county, admired him for being able to read the four famous works, and often told me about the plot of the war in his spare time.
In the semester after graduating from elementary school, the Chinese teacher held a "June 1st Excellent Composition Collection" competition in the class, asking us to organize the compositions we had written since the third grade. At that time, our small county town just had a typewriter not long ago, my mother found a certain unit printing room to mimeograph my composition collection "Golden Childhood" typography into a book (I remember a total of three mimeographs, a language teacher left, one for my father to work in the Guangxi Normal College friends, the last one after several moves can not be found, it is a pity), dozens of entries in the composition set, my distinctive composition collection won the favor of the language teacher to win the "cover design, publication preface, excellent composition" three first prizes, Although the prize is only a few thin compositions, the success of the essay collection should be an incentive for me to officially publish literary works in the publishing house in the future.
In the second semester of the second semester of junior high school, I gathered a group of literature lovers in the school to set up the "Lookout" literary newspaper (hand-copied newspaper), the young "Lookout" literary newspaper received the affirmation and support of the language teacher, mainly published the compositions of the students in each class and reprinted some articles in the books and newspapers, compiled a few issues to reach the third grade, to face the middle school entrance examination, unwilling, there is no way, the "Lookout" literary newspaper can only be suspended. It was also during this period that perhaps the troubles of teenagers began to increase, and I began to learn to write lyrical prose, and Wrote dozens of articles one after another, but unfortunately none of them could be preserved.
After graduating from junior high school, I entered normal school. To my delight, the school has a literary club and a mimeographed magazine, Ivy League. We are a group of seventeen or eighteen-year-old boys and girls who know each other because of literature. Later, there was the "Pioneer and the Tide" literary newspaper, which was a kind of national attempt, although short-lived, but also bloomed its own light.
In 1995, I met Mr. Huang Longyan, president of the Lipu Wanxia Poetry Society, and under his words and deeds, I fell in love with Chinese poetry. In 1996, he joined the Guilin Poetry Association, in 2009 he joined the Guangxi Poetry Society, and in 2017 he joined the Chinese Poetry Society, and his works have been published in "Chinese Poetry", "Chinese Dictionary" and "Stars". Poetry" and other publications.
In 1997, I began to write a long novel "Zhang Gaoyou", which took twenty years to finalize, named "Hakka Legend Zhang Gaoyou" (Sichuan Nationalities Publishing House, May 2019), why add "Hakka Legend", it is because in 2008 I founded the Lipu County Hakka Culture Research Association, in the process of research, came to the conclusion that Zhang Gaoyou is a Hakka, Zhang Gaoyou is indeed a legendary figure, he led a rebellion in Lipu against the corrupt rule of the Qing Dynasty for eight years, His legendary story is widely circulated in Lipu folk.
In 2010, the county decided to restore the literary association, the leaders of the literary association let me take the lead in the establishment of the work, for ten years, the literary association with "Lipu Literature and Art" and "Lipu Today. Xian Ren Qiao Supplement recommended works for members to publish works for the platform, and co-hosted a national poetry competition with the Poetry Association, expanding the influence of the Literary Association.
In the summer of 2016, the sixty-six-year-old father left my mother and my brother and sister after three years of fighting against the disease, I painfully began to write a long novel "Years" based on my father's life experience of more than sixty years, which took more than a year to finalize, and three years later, in November 2020, published by the Northern Literature and Art Publishing House, I returned my father's decades of parenting grace by publishing a book, if my father's extraordinary experiences can give readers some enlightenment, I think his old man will be able to smile nine springs, It is not worth it to come to this world for a walk.
In 2017, I started working on the novels "Reincarnation" and "The Edge of Love and Pain". "Reincarnation" is a fantasy novel, which belongs to online literature, but it is not disseminated on the Internet and finally published through physical channels. The Edge of Love and Pain (Beiyue Literature and Art Publishing House, November 2021) is a realistic work about growth and inspiration. It was also this year that I left the teaching team to work in the propaganda department and joined the Guilin Writers Association.
2019 is a memorable year. "Reincarnation", "Hakka legend Zhang Gaoyou", "Dream back to the Tang Dynasty" (short story collection), "Sorrow and Joy Between a Thought" (essay collection) are published by publishing houses, and the authors who publish four books in one year are estimated to be few. This year, I joined the Guangxi Writers Association. From an ordinary literary enthusiast to a member of the provincial writers' association, this road has been walked for more than twenty years.
In the three years since 2019, I have published a total of seven literary works, including four novels and one short story, one essay collection and one poetry collection. The book is not small, but the influence is not large, at the beginning of 2022, I have the honor to get acquainted with Mr. Wang Xin, the editor-in-chief of the young writer network, through several times of communication, there is a sense of acquaintance and hatred of the late, with his support and help, I joined the team of signed writers of the young writer network, I believe that through the young writer network This platform that lights up the literary dream, will let yourself gain more, will go farther and farther on the literary road, and finally realize your literary dream!
