Disciple worship master inherit the intangible cultural heritage "Minnan nursery rhymes"

Fujian Daily, New Fujian Client, January 22 (Reporter Lin Zegui Correspondent Zhou Xiuyu Lin Shunjie Wen / Photo) Submitted the "Worship Post", bowed to the Master, and offered the Worship Of The Master tea... On the 21st, a unique and traditional Chinese nursery rhyme worship ceremony was held in the Xiamen Jimeiren Cultural Museum. Under the joint witness of the Xiamen Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Center, the staff of the Jimei District Cultural Center and the entrepreneurial Taiwan youth, 10 representative inheritors of Minnan nursery rhymes at the provincial, municipal and district levels were included in the "door wall" by Mr. Zhou Changlao, the representative inheritor of the provincial intangible cultural heritage of Minnan nursery rhymes.

The ceremony was hosted by the Cultural and Tourism Bureau of Jimei District of Xiamen City and hosted by the Cultural Center of Jimei District. Among the 10 representative inheritors of the teacher, 1 is at the provincial level, 4 are at the municipal level, and 5 are at the district level. Lin Ling, vice principal of Xingdong Primary School in Jimei District, was the only provincial representative inheritor of minnan nursery rhymes who visited the teacher that day. She has been studying under Teacher Zhou Changyi for a long time, and has been actively carrying out the teaching and inheritance of nursery rhymes in southern Fujian for a long time. "The purpose of formally worshiping the teacher is to be able to learn minnan nursery rhymes more systematically and in depth, and to better inherit minnan nursery rhymes!" Lin Ling said.

Minnan nursery rhymes, children's songs written and sung in the southern Fujian dialect, popular in the residences of overseas Chinese in southern Fujian, Taiwan and Southeast Asia, with colorful and childlike content, have been selected into the second batch of national intangible cultural heritage list. However, with the development of the times and the impact of multiculturalism, a large number of vivid and rich southern Fujian dialects quickly withered away. "Rescue and protection of minnan nursery rhymes is imminent." Zhou Changkai said that the crisis of The Minnan dialect has made the creation and inheritance of Minnan nursery rhymes unconnected, and has also led to many lively nursery rhymes being collected and sorted out, and there is no successor, and it is on the verge of being lost.

As a representative inheritor of the Fujian Provincial Intangible Cultural Heritage of Minnan Nursery Rhymes and an expert in Minnan Culture, Zhou Changkai has been following the famous folk artists Eugene Man, Chen Zhengxuan, Lan Boli, etc. as his teachers since the 1960s, often going to the factory to the countryside to write and perform Minnan nursery rhymes, songs, music arts, etc., participating in the collection and rescue of Minnan nursery rhymes, songs and other works and Minnan words and sayings, etc. At present, he has published "100 Minnan Nursery Rhymes", "Minnan Dialect Rhyme Book", editor-in-chief "Minnan Dialect Dictionary", etc., and has helped cultivate the Fujian provincial level. There are 10 representative inheritors at the municipal and district levels in Xiamen.

Now in his old age, Teacher Zhou Changyu is still committed to the promotion of Minnan culture and the inheritance of Minnan nursery rhymes. Over the years, what Teacher Zhou has been doing is "seedlings", "sending" Hokkien dialect and Hokkien culture into the classrooms of universities, primary and secondary schools, and kindergartens. He said that he hopes to bring more representative inheritors and work with them to unite more people to do a good job in the protection and inheritance of minnan nursery rhymes, so that the national intangible cultural heritage project minnan nursery rhymes can be passed on.

As the location of the declaration of minnan nursery rhymes for national intangible cultural heritage projects, the Jimei District Cultural Center has been committed to the collection, protection and creation of minnan nursery rhymes in recent years, and a large number of catchy minnan nursery rhymes such as "Jimei New City Water Dangdang" and "Jimei Dragon Boat" have been effectively protected and sung with the support of government departments.

"The worship ceremony is a starting point, a platform, and a responsibility." The relevant person in charge of the Jimei District Cultural Center said that Jimei District will take this ceremony as an opportunity to further increase the intensity of promoting, inheriting and developing the culture of nursery rhymes in southern Fujian, promote cultural exchanges between the two sides of the strait in southern Fujian, and make the strange flower of nursery rhymes in southern Fujian more dazzling.
