On October 19, Dahe News learned from the press conference held by the Zhengzhou Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment in the third quarter of 2021 that from January to September 2021, of the 10 rivers in the built-up area of Zhengzhou, 8 rivers such as the Bears Ears River met the water quality standards, but the water quality of the Qili River and the Seventeen Mile River did not meet the standards.

The quality of rivers in built-up areas is good or bad, which is closely related to the lives of citizens. Liu Guofeng, deputy director of the Water Ecology Department of Zhengzhou Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment, introduced that from January to September 2021, among the 10 rivers in the built-up area of Zhengzhou, the water quality of 8 rivers in the built-up area of Zhengzhou City, namely Bears Ears River, Suosu River, Dongfeng Canal, Jinshui River, Jialu River, Eighteen Mile River, Wei River and ChaoHe River, reached the standard, and the water quality of surface water class IV and above was not up to standard; the water quality of 2 rivers of Qili River and Seventeen Mile River was not up to standard.

Drinking water sources don't worry. It is understood that Zhengzhou has a total of 7 urban centralized drinking water sources, 14 county-level drinking water sources, 58 township-level drinking water sources, and 53 drinking water sources for thousands of tons of people. From January to September 2021, the water quality of Zhengzhou's urban centralized drinking water source reached 100%.

According to the data collected by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, from January to September 2021, the water quality of 10 national and provincial control sections in Zhengzhou city was further improved compared with the same period last year, of which 8 sections such as the Yellow River Garden Mouth, the Jialu River Jiangang Reservoir, the Shuanghuan River Xinzheng Huangfu Zhai, the Yiluo River Gongyi Qilipu, the Zhangbagou Liangjia Bridge, the Meihe Laozhuang Shangcun, the Shuishui River Estuary, and the Shuanghuan River Ma'an Cave reached Class III and above, and the 2 sections of the Jialu River, such as the Muchen Bridge in the Jialu River and the Dengfeng Baisha Reservoir in the Yinghe River, were Class IV water quality.

From January to September 2021, 12 municipal control sections in Zhengzhou, in addition to the section of the Dry River entering the Yellow River, the Seventeen Mile River entering Zheng, the Su River Eight Immortals Bridge, the SuoHe River into the Xu River, the Dry River Upper Street into Xingyang, the Xuhe Expressway Bridge, the Shuanghun River Boundary River, the Shuishui River Gongyi into Xingyang, the Fenshui River Xingyang into the Street, the Shuishui River into the Street, the Shuishui River into the Xingyang, the Dry River Xingyang into Huiji and other 10 municipal control sections of the water quality are up to standard, for the surface water class IV and above water quality; the section of the Chaohe River into Zheng is not up to standard.
