According to the Jiangsu channel of the People's Network, on the afternoon of January 22, the fifth session of the 12th CPPCC National Committee of Jiangsu Province held its third plenary meeting. The meeting elected Zhang Yizhen by secret ballot as the chairman of the 12th Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.
Previously, Zhang Yizhen was the secretary of the PARTY Group of the Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. In November last year, Zhang Yizhen was transferred from the Standing Committee of the Cpc Guangdong Provincial Committee and the Director of the Organization Department to the deputy secretary of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee. On the morning of January 20, the third plenary session of the Fifth Session of the 12th CPPCC Zhejiang Provincial Committee was held, and Huang Lixin was elected as the chairman of the Provincial CPPCC Committee.
Public information shows that Zhang Yizhen was born in August 1964, a native of Anguo, Hebei. She studied agricultural economics and management at Hebei Agricultural University with a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in agricultural economics and management from Huazhong Agricultural University.
After graduating with a doctorate in 1998, Zhang Yizhen returned to Hebei Agricultural University and served as vice president and dean of the School of Economics and Management, and vice president of Hebei Agricultural University.
Since June 2004, Zhang Yizhen has successively served as deputy director of the Organization Department of the Hebei Provincial Party Committee, deputy secretary of the Tangshan Municipal Party Committee and director of the Organization Department, executive deputy director of the United Front Work Department of the Hebei Provincial Party Committee, deputy director of the Organization Department of the Hebei Provincial Party Committee, secretary of the party group and director of the Provincial Human Resources and Social Security Department.

In February 2019, she moved south to Guangdong and served as a member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and director of the Organization Department.
In November 2021, Zhang Yizhen took up a new post across provinces and served as deputy secretary of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee.

Huang Lixin was born in August 1962 in Suqian, Jiangsu Province.
