Chen Dehong's paintings

I have always pursued original beauty, simple beauty, and my works are full of personality. I was drunk on sketching, and I felt that nature had poetry, existed in the corners of my mysterious mind, and it was from this mystery that I felt the poetic meaning of painting. This is also my own independent artistic path.

My paintings are not about reproducing nature, all my works are derived from my understanding of traditional brush and ink and my perception of nature. I found in nature what I expected, lush plants, millennia-old trees, eternal blue skies and simple life.

My world is lonely, and it is these invisible lonelinesses that allow me to keep a clear mind, look at my art and life, and maintain a better mentality at all times. And the more unique a person has, the more difficult it is for him to make such a sacrifice, so to endure or enjoy solitude is proportional to the value of the person himself.

Schopenhauer said: The higher a person's position in the level of nature, the lonelier he is, which is fundamental and inevitable. If a person's physical loneliness and spiritual loneliness correspond to each other, it is very good for him.

There is an incomprehensible relationship between art, which is the innermost part of man, a kind of self-reproduction buried in the depths, which has become a profound meaning, and the original intention of a long journey has become a real bitter heart! The deeper the love, the more intense the sex, the more true the love, the more lonely the art, this is the portrayal of artistic life! The more experienced you will laugh and see the vicissitudes, which also shows that the higher the understanding, the farther away.
