At present, the scale of intelligent manufacturing in Changhong is constantly expanding, Changhong is currently investing 12 billion yuan in Mianyang, Sichuan to build "a headquarters + three major wisdom parks", Changhong Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park, Economic Development Zone Industrial Park, national double innovation industrial park has been initially completed and put into operation. The entire industrial park project of Changhong Shuangchuang Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park is expected to achieve a total output value of 8 billion yuan and a tax revenue of 230 million yuan after completion and production.

Under the construction experience of the "5G + Industrial Internet" production line, Changhong intelligent manufacturing has achieved remarkable results and began to radiate to other industries under Changhong. Among them, the most significant achievement is Changhong Energy, which has attracted much attention in recent days.

In April 2020, Changhong invested nearly 2 billion yuan to build an intelligent manufacturing industrial park, committed to the research and development and production of new energy lithium battery projects applied to electric vehicles, electric bicycles, low-speed vehicles and other fields. In October this year, the lithium battery project was officially put into operation, becoming the largest "high-magnification cylindrical lithium battery" production base in western China. It plans to produce more than 3 million high-magnification cylindrical batteries per day in the next five years, becoming the world's leading enterprise in high-magnification lithium batteries. This has become a prerequisite for Changhong Energy to transform from a small giant to an industrial champion.

In the case of more in-depth and more specialized, Changhong has become one of the representatives of Intelligent Manufacturing in China. Recently, the General Office of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued the "Notice on Announcing the Third Batch of Service-oriented Manufacturing Demonstration List", and Sichuan Changhong Intelligent Manufacturing Technology Co., Ltd. was selected as a "National Service-oriented Manufacturing Demonstration Enterprise".

Service-oriented manufacturing is a new industrial form of manufacturing and service integration and development, and is an important direction for the transformation and upgrading of manufacturing industry. According to Pan Xiaoyong, deputy general manager of Changhong Holding Company and chairman of Changhong Intelligent Manufacturing Company, in recent years, the company has proposed service-oriented manufacturing system solutions with "IE (industrial engineering) + AT (automation technology) + IT (informatization)" as the strategy and method, and for electronic information, new energy, new materials, intelligent logistics and other industries to create a service-oriented manufacturing model based on intelligent manufacturing overall solutions, including automated wire, intelligent equipment, industrial robots, factory informatization, control systems and other business services.
