1 Liuzhou's "stage" retained him
Deng Jiazun, 56, is a senior engineer who currently serves as the deputy general manager and director of the technical center of Liuzhou Jinyuan Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Jinyuan Machinery"). 32 years ago, Deng Jiazun, who just joined the work, was just an ordinary maintenance worker of a food enterprise in Nanning, and it was the spirit of dedication and excellence that allowed him to continuously improve his technical ability, which later had the professional experience of serving as the chief of the quality section, the chief of the technical section, the manager of the sales department and the manager of the production technology department in an auto parts manufacturer in Nanning.
In July 2008, due to the merger and reorganization between enterprises, Deng Jiazun began to serve as the deputy general manager of Jinyuan Machinery. He brought more than 10 technicians and skilled workers from Nanning to Liuzhou with his original enterprise. Originally thinking of cultivating a group of skilled workers for the new owner and putting the production of the enterprise on the right track, he resigned and returned to Nanning. Unexpectedly, I did it for 13 years. Most of the employees who came with him have returned to Nanning, and only 3 people are still in Jinyuan Machinery.
Deng Jiazun has never bought a house in Liuzhou, and for 13 years, he has been living in the company's dormitory, and only on holidays can he return to Nanning to spend a short time with his family. What prompted him to stay was a strong sense of responsibility and initiative. He knew that Jinyuan Machinery needed him, and at the same time, it could provide him with a stage to show his talents.
Jinyuan Machinery is a supplier of Wuling and LiuGong, mainly producing auto parts such as gear shifters, parking brake cables, clutch cables, accelerator cables and stamping welding. Deng Jiazun, who lives in the company, is more like a technical backbone who comes with the company than a company leader. Workers will find him when they encounter technical difficulties in late-night overtime production, and customers who have questions about products have also called him in the early morning. Every time, he will appear in time to solve production technical problems and respond to customer needs.
2 The technological transformation invention has obtained a national patent
Deng Jiazun's professionalism is by no means a person burying his head in the wild, but through his continuous efforts, the team's cooperation is smoother and the enterprise can obtain higher efficiency.
In July 2008, shortly after arriving at Jinyuan Machinery, Deng Jiazun found that the equipment used by the company for the production of automotive flexible shaft control series products was too old, most of the operation staff were novices, the production processes were "single-handed", the on-site material placement was chaotic, the product quality of the production was unstable, and the production efficiency was low.

Deng Jiazun boldly proposed technical transformation, equipment upgrading, and at the same time, in view of the bottleneck processing process in production, after carefully analyzing and studying the product processing technology and analyzing the product structure in detail, he formulated a transformation plan to solve key technical problems, and designed and developed a special equipment for push-pull flexible shaft external pipe buckle riveting, using a number of innovative processing processes. In less than half a year, using self-made special equipment and advanced equipment introduced, a new semi-automated production line for soft axles for vehicles was built, and then several similar production lines were successively invested, which increased production efficiency by nearly 200%, reduced labor costs by 50%, significantly reduced quality costs, reduced unit energy consumption by 25%, and the project won the second prize of Guangxi Heavy Industry's 2010 Excellent Equipment Transformation Achievements.
Deng Jiazun designed and developed in the technical transformation of "a push-pull flexible shaft external pipe buckle riveting method and its equipment" has obtained the invention patent, in 2013 the patent technology was approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China, the project was identified to reach the domestic leading level, obtained 3 invention patents and 3 utility model patents authorization. So far, the project has achieved sales income of more than 550 million yuan and profits and taxes of more than 50 million yuan. The patent also won the silver medal of the Guangxi Invention and Creation Achievements Exhibition fair, the second prize of the Liuzhou Technological Invention Award, and the third prize of the Guangxi Science and Technology Invention Award.
3 Dare to be the first to eat crabs
As cars with automatic transmissions gradually become the mainstream, the market demand for accessories such as manual shifters and clutch cables originally produced by Jinyuan Machinery has gradually shrunk. Innovation is the way out! In 2018, Deng Jiazun decided to lead the technical team to start the development of automotive CVT shifter production technology. Before them, no enterprise in Guangxi could produce CVT shifters, and Deng Jiazun wanted to be the first person to eat crabs.
To develop such a new product, to overcome one technical difficulty after another, only the design of the push-pull soft shaft components, Deng Jiazun led the team to conduct nearly 20 tests. In order to make the sliding resistance and load effectiveness of the CVT shifter meet the technical requirements, they tried again and again to adjust the winding flexible shaft equipment, modify the riveting mold, and select different push-pull shaft materials.
Before the next trial, the problems identified in the previous protocol were redesigned or adjusted, taking as little as a few days and as much as half a year. In the process of revising the plan, Deng Jiazun contacted material suppliers in many ways, looked for professional information, consulted experts in related fields, and often fell into it and forgot to eat. Even when he went out to take a ride, he always had a plan in mind. On two business trips, because I was thinking about the modification plan while waiting for the train, I missed the time to get on the bus and had to change the ticket.
After three years of unremitting efforts, the automotive CVT shifter products developed by Deng Jiazun led by the technical team were finally officially put into production in 2021, filling the gap that no enterprise in Guangxi could produce CVT shifters, and the technology reached the domestic advanced level.
Dungartzun's research on CVT shifter production technology has not stopped. In 2021, he led the technical team to develop an electronic automatic shifter, which is currently undergoing prototype testing. Deng Jiazun said that with the development of automotive intelligent technology, he will continue to carry out research and development with "artificial intelligence + automotive electronics" as the main line, and constantly promote product upgrading.
