He Ping
He Ping, real name He Weiping, was born in 1975 in Xingning, Guangdong. He is currently a lecturer at the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts and a member of the Guangdong Artists Association.
He graduated from the Affiliated High School of the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts in 1996, graduated from the Watercolor Painting Major of the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts in 2000 with a bachelor's degree, graduated from the Graduate School of the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts in 2012 with a master's degree in oil painting, under the supervision of the famous painter Professor Xie Chuyu; and began to teach at the Affiliated Middle School of the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts in 2013, with the title of lecturer of the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts.
With his distinctive personal style and artistic language, his freehand flower and bird paintings are different from the loneliness, neglect, self-appreciation and limitations of traditional literati flower and bird paintings, and are full of vitality of the spirit of the times. In the process of creation, he absorbs the scenery of nature as the image in his chest, and then turns the image in his chest into the state of intention, and finally expresses this feeling through pen and ink. In his paintings, we can appreciate the poetic mood, the natural space is no longer simply reproduced, and the artistic conception of the picture has been expanded.
