On the morning of January 19, the Gaoping Management Committee of Nanchong Linjiang New Area held a special planning seminar on water network greenways, focusing on the planning plan and other content. At the meeting, all cadres and workers watched the draft of the "Special Plan for Water Network Greenways" (2021-2035) and put forward opinions and suggestions.
Zhao Mu, consultant of the Gaoping Management Committee of Nanchong Linjiang New District, said that the construction of water network greenways is an important ecological project, people's livelihood project, cultural project, we must adhere to the "people-oriented" construction ideas, adhering to the concept of building a landscape pastoral city development, fully soliciting leadership opinions, strengthening top-level design, starting from the perspective of the people, fully considering the participation and interaction of citizens; the expert team should give full play to their advantages, and comprehensively consider municipal special planning such as urban general planning, control detailed planning and greening planning, water system planning, underground pipe network planning, etc. Comprehensively consider factors such as cultural construction and industrial development, stimulate the development of the real economic industry, and realize the compounding of the functions of the construction of water network greenways and maximize the benefits. At the same time, it is necessary to pay attention to the delineation of ecological redlines, practice the concept of "green water and green mountains are golden mountains and silver mountains", and provide strong support for the overall land use planning.
Yan Hui, deputy director of the Management Committee of Nanchong Linjiang New Area and director of the Gaoping Management Committee of Nanchong Linjiang New District, said that the construction of water network greenways should pay attention to the organic series of greenways, green corridors and green cores, forming a water network greenway based on flood prevention and flood control, integrating ecological protection, leisure and tourism appreciation, etc., committed to protecting the natural environment along the Jialing River, promoting the diversified development of protective green areas, forming an ecological belt, maintaining ecological integrity, enhancing urban functions, and forming an ecological green corridor with reasonable layout, outstanding characteristics and beautiful nature.
The seminar had a rich agenda and detailed content, and through the form of face-to-face communication, it effectively improved the theoretical level and professional ability of the participants, broadened their horizons, enhanced exchanges, and laid a solid foundation for further accelerating the construction of water network greenways in Gaoping Area of Linjiang New Area.
