Collection of new bureaus Collections expand the field of collection resources
On the afternoon of January 17, the Tianshui Municipal Archives held a handover ceremony for the 2021 collection of archives into the museum. At the ceremony site, the Receiving and Collection Section handed over to the Management and Protection Section more than 500 copies of newspapers and magazines (this book), 618 photo materials, 5 video propaganda films, 50 volumes of high-quality book materials, more than 460 pieces (volumes) of 17 categories of featured philatelic materials, 4 celebrity calligraphy paintings, 1 volume of the 2021 Public Festival Fuxi Grand Ceremony Festival Collection Edition, and 1 data retrieval U disk covering the content of the "China Archives Newspaper" in 22 years. Leaders in charge Ma Yiming, Liu Jinping and all the staff of the two departments attended. Curator He Zhonglan attended the ceremony and delivered a speech.
In 2021, the Tianshui Municipal Archives will take the collection of archival materials as an important starting point for the construction of the archival resource system, focusing on the themes of the city center's work, key projects, and major activities, refining the division of responsibilities, consolidating task measures, continuously excavating and collecting clues, increasing the collection of precious archives, and taking multiple measures to create a new situation in the collection work.
The first is to collect newspapers and magazines to make up for the shortcomings of the collection. Supplementary subscriptions to 55 bound editions of China Archives Newspaper since 1998, 1 set of data retrieval U disks, 66 bound editions of Tianshui Daily and Tianshui Evening News since 2013, 21 miniature editions of People's Daily, and 262 industry magazines such as "China Archives" and "Archives" since 2012, making up for the shortcomings of the incomplete quantity and quality of newspapers and magazines in the collection.
The second is to collect "two types" of archives and expand the field of collections. Throughout the year, we took the initiative to attack around the overall situation of the work, did a good job in the collection of relevant materials related to the archives of "poverty alleviation" and "epidemic prevention and control", and collected a total of 487 photos and materials related to poverty alleviation such as "Celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China" and "Happy Remembrance - Tianshui City "Poverty Alleviation • Rural Revitalization" Public Service Advertising Exhibition", "Tianshui Poverty Alleviation Story", "Poverty Alleviation Decisive Victory - Tianshui City Poverty Alleviation Documentary" and other books and materials, Tianshui City Poverty Alleviation Press Conference Propaganda Film "1; Collected 73 photos and materials related to epidemic prevention and control such as "Unity of Will, Moving Forward to the Light (Tianshui City Fight against the New Crown Pneumonia Epidemic)", 1 copy of "Unity of Purpose and Unity of Purpose - Atlas of the Prevention and Control of the New Crown Pneumonia Epidemic in 2020 of the Disease Control System of Tianshui City", and 3 video clips such as "Unity of Purpose and Holding on to the City".
The third is to collect red archives and enrich the collection resources. Fully excavate the red resources of Tianshui City, carry out the red archive material collection activity with the theme of "100th Anniversary of the Founding of the Party" for all sectors of society online and offline, and collect 58 relevant photo materials such as "Red Hot Land Exhibition", 18 books such as "Red Heart to the Party" and "Red Tianshui", and 1 video propaganda film of "Soul Casting Qinzhou".
The fourth is to collect characteristic archives and optimize the structure of the collection. A total of more than 460 pieces (volumes) of 17 categories of featured stamp collection materials were collected, including: 223 Tianshui Tour Tickets; 156 issues of Tianshui Philatelic Newspaper; 35 numbered commemorative covers; 16 issues of Tianzhong Postal Court Newspaper; 10 issues of Xihuang Philatelic Newspaper Trial Issue; 6 issues of "Post Friends Information" Newspaper; 3 folds of personalized stamps; 2 volumes of Tianshui Postage Ticket Appreciation (2001-2013)"; and 9 volumes of other philatelic materials. In addition, 18 volumes of books and materials with rich regional characteristics such as "Legend of the Water Curtain Cave" and "Ancestral Dragon City" were collected, 4 calligraphy works by General Yang Yaochun and others, and 1 volume of fuxi text (collector's edition) of the 2021 (Xin Ugly) Public Sacrifice Fuxi Grand Ceremony (Collector's Edition).
The fifth is to collect social treasures and standardize the collection process. Design and produce a new version of the collection certificate, improve the detailed registration form of the collection of works, strictly control all aspects of the collection, from the collection of clues to the collection of finished products into the museum, so that each collection has a clear source and the direction of each collection certificate is clear. Throughout the year, 7 collection certificates were processed for the original donation owners, all of which were issued in accordance with the procedures.
The ceremony was presided over by Comrade Liu Jinping, the leader in charge of the collection work, and she briefly introduced the development of the department's archives and material collection work throughout the year. Comrade Ma Yiming, the leader in charge of the management and protection section, said that the personnel of the department will be organized to refine and classify the transferred materials, register and create records, standardize the sorting, put them on the shelves, and do a good job in daily storage and consultation, research, and utilization.
Finally, Comrade He Zhonglan, director of the museum, fully affirmed the results achieved in the collection work in his speech, and pointed out that the archives shoulder the important function of "preserving history and educating people with seniority", and doing a good job in collecting precious archives and materials can better rescue and protect the scattered archives in society and better serve the development of economic, social and people's livelihood undertakings while enriching the collection and improving the structure of the collection. In the future, we must continue to increase our efforts, expand the scope of collection, implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on archival work, "keep and make good use of the red archives that contain the party's original mission, and do a good job of preserving the historical record of the struggle of the party leading the people to promote the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation in the new era, so as to better serve the overall situation of the work of the party and the country and serve the people."
