19 days of freight volume exceeded 10 million tons! Xinjiang Railway has achieved a good start to the New Year

　　The reporter learned from the China Railway Urumqi Bureau Group Co., Ltd. that as of January 19 this year, the railway freight volume in Xinjiang exceeded 10 million tons, reaching 10.2211 million tons, an increase of 13.6% year-on-year, achieving a good start to the New Year.

　　At the end of last year, Xinjiang Railway signed strategic cooperation agreements with a number of enterprises, and the agreed volume was 153.4 million tons, an increase of 10 million tons year-on-year, ensuring the stability of the supply in the new year.

　　Since the beginning of the year, the Xinjiang railway department has continued to deepen the structural reform of the supply side, give full play to the advantages of green and low carbon, strengthen strategic cooperation with backbone enterprises inside and outside Xinjiang, and fully meet the needs of thermal coal supply and key material transportation, with steady growth in transportation volume, and refresh the single-day loading record for 11 consecutive days. On January 19, a single-day loading reached 10,810 vehicles, a new high.

　　"The Xinjiang railway department reasonably gives full play to the marshalling capacity of Wuxi Station, Hami East Station and Korla Station, reduces the marshalling operation of intermediate stations, makes the vehicle turnover faster, continuously improves transportation efficiency, and provides sufficient transportation capacity for the increasing number of cargo sources." Liu Lu, deputy director of the planning office of the dispatching office of China Railway Urumqi Bureau Group Co., Ltd., said.

　　Taking the Wubei-General Temple railway as an example, since the beginning of this year, the railway in Uzbekistan has increased from an average of 46 trains per day last year to a recent high of 71 trains per day and 70 trains per day, which has greatly increased its transport capacity and become an important support for the growth of railway freight volume in Xinjiang.

　　Entering the Spring Festival, the Xinjiang railway department set up a special work class according to the needs of passenger and freight transportation, organized marketing personnel to visit enterprises in advance, explored the production situation of upstream and downstream enterprises, and arranged for holidays, clarified the task objectives in accordance with the three stages of pre-holiday, mid-festival and post-festival, and was guaranteed by leading cadres in the division of labor, and communicated every day to coordinate and solve problems in transportation and production at any time, to ensure the rapid transportation of thermal coal, metal ore, chemical and other products, and to achieve sustained growth in transportation during the festival.

　　The Xinjiang railway department coordinates and solves logistics problems such as vehicle configuration and short-haul transportation in a timely manner through regular docking and communication with enterprises. "Tianchi Energy has completed 1.51 million tons of cargo shipments in just 19 days, an increase of 560,000 tons over the same period last year." Chen Lin, deputy manager of the logistics company of TBEA Xinjiang Tianchi Energy Co., Ltd., said.
