The history and poetic meaning of Chinese painting have been passed down for a long time, which is particularly special in the Lingnan region. The painting meaning of the literati painting emphasizes that "mountaineering is full of love for the mountain, and viewing the sea means overflowing with the sea; how much I am talented will be driven away by the wind and clouds." The Ming Dynasty was a very special era. Western studies generally refer to it as "early modern China", which means that the Ming Dynasty had modernity. This modernity is a representative figure whether it is from the theme (fish, insects, birds, stones) or from the perspective of the times. From The beginning of Xu Wei, to the later Shi Tao, the Eight Great Congresses, the modern Pan Tianshou and Li Laoshi and other modern painters, their inheritance of literati paintings and the specific shape system, the synthesis of poetry, calligraphy and painting, etc., are all valuable assets of our times.
In fact, they established a set of painting history with Xu Wei as the core along the history of painting. This context is not history, but a summary of carefully selected knowledge, experience, and ideas, including specific works, the selection of authors, the corresponding dominant ideas, and the logical order between these ideas and authors.
