The reporter learned from the sixth session of the 15th Shanghai Municipal People's Congress that this year Shanghai will better play the leading role of Pudong's high-level reform and opening up and fully implement the major strategic tasks of the country.

Adhere to the highest standards and the best level of benchmarking, focus on promoting deeper reform, higher level of opening up, and greater innovation, and accelerate the formation of a number of major achievements with concentration and display. Build a leading area for socialist modernization in Pudong; accelerate the implementation of the "three major tasks"; fully promote the "Shanghai Plan" of the three major industries; ensure the construction and development of the Shanghai National Laboratory; and actively create a two-way open "three major platforms".
