Michael B Jordan develops a new black superman project for HBO Max "doesn't want to play a black version of Clark Kent but is interested in black superman"

According to foreign media reports, Michael B. Jordan and his production company, Outward Society, are working on a new Superman project for HBO Max, which has nothing to do with the reboot superman movie Warner is currently working on. The new project, featuring Earth 2's black superman "Val-Zod" from the comics, is unclear whether it will be a movie or a limited series. Jordan will be the producer of the project, but he's also not sure if he'll star.

Previous reports have suggested that J. J. Abrams' company Of Bad Robots is working on a reboot of the Superman movie, in which Carl Al/Clark Kent will be starred by a black actor. (The difference is that Farr Zod himself is a black character, while Clark Kent is a white character played by a black actor.) There are many rumors that Jordan will play this version of Clark Kent, and Jordan himself has denied this rumor. Jordan has also said in interviews that he has little interest in the "racially converted" version of Clark Kent, but he is interested in Farr Zod, who is a black superman himself.

At the same time, Jordan will also work with Warner on a new version of "Static Shock", and he will serve as the film's producer.
