Recently, the Galaxy Observatory in Xiaohe Township, Liuyang City, Hunan Province, located deep in the mountains, was completed and opened. Galaxy Observatory is divided into four functional areas: astronomical interactive exhibition area, natural science book corner, astronomical multimedia classroom, and astronomical observatory. The staff of the Hunan Astronomical Association also carried out activities such as science education and guided observation at the observatory to help children "look up at the stars" and explore the universe.
