Funded by the Beijing Culture and Art Fund and sponsored by the Beijing Internet Culture Association, the project "Drama 'Gathering' Talents, Containing New - Young Peking Opera Talent Exchange Platform" was recently launched.
According to Yu Zuhai, president of the Beijing Internet Culture Association, as a funding project of the Beijing Culture and Art Fund in 2021, the Youth Peking Opera Talent Exchange Platform aims to focus on the "net line" of Peking Opera, make full use of the advantages of new media communication, combine traditional opera with the Internet, take the Douyin short video platform as the communication carrier, and combine the Douyin explosive content play to create a high-quality Peking Opera artistic talent exchange platform.
Jiang Tingting, director of the Beijing Culture and Art Heritage and Development Center, said that the young Peking Opera Talent Exchange Platform project integrates the resources of academies and colleges, and continuously expands the innovation space of opera art through new media and new technologies, which is a useful exploration and practice of the cultivation of opera talents. Liu Tong, president of the Beijing Opera House, said that in the 480-person actor team of the Beijing Opera House, the Jingxing inheritance includes three schools of Hou Pai, Hao Pai and Qiu Pai, and the Young Peking Opera Talent Exchange Platform Project uses scientific and technological means to build a platform for young Peking Opera flower-faced actors, which is the pursuit and dream of the actors, and the more important significance is to spread the Art of Peking Opera farther, to the whole country and to the world. Shu Tong, a professor at the China Academy of Performing Arts and a famous artist of Peking Opera, as the artistic director of the project, lamented that Peking Opera has always been based on Shengdan, and the net line is often subordinate, and this project allows more audiences to enter the theater to understand the flower face industry and understand Peking Opera through new media and new means.
After the launching ceremony, the training activities of the first lesson of the project were carried out on the spot. The professional new media operators in the industry introduced the contents of Douyin in Peking Opera and Peking Opera in Douyin for the project students, so that the students had a preliminary understanding of the relationship between new media and Peking Opera, and laid a good foundation for the smooth operation of the project.
It is understood that in the next six months, the project will carry out professional quality training, new media literacy training, online promotion, offline performances and other training activities for outstanding young Peking Opera huafa actors in Beijing under the main line of "drama 'gathering' talents and accumulating new ones", dig deep into the communication value of Peking Opera, highlight the potential of young actors, and make traditional culture perceptible, interactive, experienceable and shareable through the Internet.
