Wool Sauna
Sigulda, Latvia
Wool Sauna is ziedlejas' latest addition to a dedicated sauna retreat, and unlike other buildings in the resort, wool sauna sits on top of a hill surrounded by trees and is fully furnished inside, providing visitors with a more private and quiet experience.
A winding boardwalk leads from the foot of the mountain to the hut, and the scenery along the way leads people step by step deep into the jungle. The structure and façade of the building mimic the shape of a yurt, and inside, the walls are wrapped in a layer of wool skin, which, when the room is heated, releases natural and mild lanolin, enhancing the therapeutic effect.
In addition to the necessary sauna function, OPEN AD also has some leisure facilities, in the hot summer months, travelers can lie in the huge outdoor hammocks, really close to nature. In addition, since there is no natural water body around the cottage, the team dug a pool of water a few meters away from the building to enrich the outdoor activities of tourists.

KRM House
Latvia Vidzeme
This pavilion-style house is an attached holiday home to the old Latvian farmstead Viensēta, located in a sparsely populated area of Gauya National Park. Here, the number of wild animals far exceeds that of local occupants, and they are already in the natural landscape without deliberately creating them.
The residence refers to the overall layout of the traditional farmstead and is divided into living space, ancillary space and courtyard adjacent to the ancillary space. OPEN AD replaces barns and shacks with mesa-style gardens and hides the garage in them, creating a relatively private space.
Both indoors and outdoors, wood and metal are used as elements of the enclosing space, and the fired pine wood fire boards take on a low-key black-brown color, which is in harmony with the gray furniture. In addition, most of the furniture of the houses is handmade by local skilled craftsmen in Latvia, continuing the ancient cultural traditions.

Ziedlejas Wellness Resort
Ziedlejas is a resort located on the outskirts of Sigulda, with the theme of "Nature Spa", which provides people with a slow living experience away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The client wanted to be able to meet the functions and needs of modern life while maintaining the spirit of tradition, so several huts wrapped in weathering steel were born at the right time.
Inspired by Japanese culture, Open AD designed foldable double beds and hidden coffee tables to improve the efficiency of space utilization. Each cottage is equipped with a private bathroom, and the surrounding herb garden provides guests with natural sauna supplies.
Ziedlejas has been in the process of continuous development since its establishment, and with the improvement of people's environmental awareness and social responsibility in recent years, Ziedlejas has also continuously updated its own development concept accordingly. Today, it has become the only choice for Latvian city dwellers to escape the daily consumption culture of the city.

Located in Riga, latvia's capital, this naturally low-key residence is made up of prefabricated elements assembled by the construction team off-site and then placed at precise points, complementing the entire complex in a clever dialogue with the surrounding birch trees.
The design team incorporated the client's values and preferences into the project, added visual impact colors to the gray-toned interior space, and created a playground for the children through childlike facilities such as slides, enriching the venue attributes of the space.
